Copyright Gossip: Exploring Copyright Opinions, Theories, and Strategies on YouTube

This study investigates copyright discourses on YouTube. Through a qualitative content analysis of 144 YouTube videos, we explore how creators understand law, they minimize risks posed by infringement, and navigate highly technical dynamic enforcement ecosystem. Our findings offer insights into digitally situated cultural producers are impacted respond to automated moderation. is important because increasingly lawmakers around the world asking digital platforms implement efficient systems for moderation, yet there lack good information about stakeholders most directly these practices. In this study, present systematic gossip, building concept algorithmic which comprises opinions, theories, strategies who affected YouTube’s systems.
